Adult Ministries Spiritual Enrichment Opportunity......

Speak Lord, for your servant is listening.  I Samuel 3:9

Join us to read and discuss the book Whisper: How to Hear the Voice of God. Best-selling author Mark Batterson shows how natural it is for believers to hear the voice of God through the seven love languages, each unique and entirely divine. God is actively speaking through Scripture, Desires, Doors, Dreams, People, Promptings and Pain. Discover ways to be still and lean into His whisper!

This group will begin meeting January 7, 2018, and continue for about 10 weeks (except for the date of the annual meeting on 1/28/2018). We will get together between services on Sundays (9:30- 10:30 a.m.), and the study will conclude just before Easter. The facilitators are Kate Harenza, Sarah Smith and Susan Ziemer.

Interested? A small number of books will be ordered by Atonement which you may purchase for $15 when you sign up in the narthex. This book is also available for Kindle, and available through Amazon and other booksellers. If you obtain the book before our first meeting, and have the time, please read the Prologue and Chapter 1 (about 18 pages total).

Please join us for this unique fellowship opportunity. All are welcome!

Summer Small Groups

Usually 6-8 weeks on Tuesdays during the summer
Summer small groups developed out of a desire for relationship building and faith conversation. Topic-based, we generally start with a dinner for those who can, watch a video together, and then break into small groups for discussion. Led by wonderfully gifted and trained lay leaders, these groups seek to get to know one another more and have conversation based on the videos, faith, and life.

Adult Forums

Presentations on important topics scheduled throughout the year
Adult forums are scheduled throughout the year and take the place of other adult offerings on Sunday morning. They can cover a wide range of topics: health issues organized by our Health Care Advocate, Ken Lord, presentations by youth on their summer trip, and more. We’ll let you know when the next one gets scheduled – please let us know if there is a topic important to you that we can discuss or for which we can organize a presenter.

Special Events through the year

Next up:  Midweek Lenten opportunities
Wednesday evenings in Lent (3/8, 3/15, 3/22, 3/29, 4/5), we have the opportunity for nourishment through fellowship, education and worship.  We begin the evening with dinner at 6:00 p.m., education options about prayer or art at 6:30 p.m., and worship options at 7:30 p.m.  See the event for more details.
