Nursery

Care is provide in room G124 on the ground floor every Sunday during all three worship services and faith enrichment time.

Atonement has on staff four adult nursery attendants, with two being present in the nursery each Sunday morning.  Parents are asked to sign in their children at drop off and promptly pick up their children at the end of worship or faith enrichment time. If children will be staying for both worship and faith enrichment, please stop by the nursery in between to talk with the nursery attendant and check on your child. Please bring labeled diaper bags and bottles for an infant child so nursery attendants can provide appropriate care.

  • During worship, the nursery is open to children from infants through age 6.  Parents may have their children in the nursery for the entire service or simply a portion.  For families who are participating in more traditional worship in the nave, Room F104 offers another alternative. This room was designed as an extension of the nave, providing sight and sound to the worship service while also giving a family some separation from the entire congregation. Feel free to move between the nave and F104 as needed throughout worship.
  • During the time of faith enrichment, the nursery is open to children under the age of three, including infants, whose parents are involved in some activity at the church (e.g. participating in or leading a faith enrichment class).

PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY PEANUT OR NUT PRODUCTS TO THE CHURCH.
Some of our Sunday school and preschool children are allergic.
Thank you.

Children in Worship

Atonement welcomes young children in worship.  They bring excitement and energy to the worshiping community, helping us to experience God in new ways.

Each Sunday, parents may decide what is appropriate for their family: children participating in worship, children in nursery, or a combination.
