Tom Scornavacchi joined us as Vicar in July of 2012. A long-time native of Berks County, Tom earned his Bachelors degree from Alvernia University in 2009 and most recently a Master of Divinity from The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia. Upon ordination in July 2013, Tom became the full time pastor and mission developer of Common Ground Ministry, an emerging faith community exploring the “common ground” that lies beneath the 12-steps and our Lutheran faith. In Common Ground he is involved in Wednesday worship services, small group book studies, Alpha, and our monthly coffee house. Tom and his wife Tina live in Wernersville and enjoy spending time with their daughters, extended family, friends, and their miniature schnauzer, Chloe. Pastor Tom enjoys cooking, reading, and going on early morning walks.
