A Place at the Table - Family dinner

A Place at the Table provides a time of enrichment for children from first-grade and older to explore the gift of Holy Communion.  For some children, this will be a time of preparing for first-time sharing in this Holy Meal.  Other children may already be partaking of Holy Communion but have not yet participated in formalized instruction.  In either case, the class will provide participants with the meaning of Holy Communion and the means of grace that it provides.

A Place at the Table is offered once a year with instruction that spans four weeks.  The schedule for the 2019 offering is:

• Three gatherings for learning: Sundays, January 5, 12, and 19, 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
• Saturday, January 25, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. – Family dinner (including siblings) in Lundin Hall followed by rehearsal in the nave. 
• Sunday, Janary 26 – Holy Communion will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. worship.  Group photograph will be taken at 10:00 a.m.
