Since 2008, Atonement Lutheran Church, partnered with Trinity Lutheran Church, Reading, has been serving as Host Congregation for Family Promise of Berks County, the local affiliate of a national program, in its Interfaith Hospitality Network. We are going to start collecting Clearances for volunteers that interact with the families. If you have clearances from helping with Sunday School or elsewhere, a copy for Dorothy DeLong, Family Promise Coordinator, would be lovely. If you don't have clearances, it is free to get them online. The Family Promise Clearances document explains how to get them and has links to the websites. THANK YOU!
