Sing with the Choir for the "Dixieland Mass" in the Nave on November 3, 2019.

Join our choir for a fun musical event—a “Dixieland Mass” on Sunday, November 3. We’ll sing this lively work at both 8:30 and 11:00 AM, and we’ll be accompanied by an instrumental ensemble that will have that famous Dixieland sound. The music is familiar Dixieland tunes set to the parts of the liturgy, including “When the Saints Go Marching In,” “The Tiger Rag,” and “Down by the Riverside.”  Check out the rehearsal schedule below. It would be helpful to be able to attend at least 3 of the 5 rehearsals:

Thursdays, October 3, 10, 17, 24, 8:00-9:00 PM, in the choir room.
Saturday, November 2, 9:30-11:00 AM, in the nave with the band.
