Helping Hands
An opportunity to request help from or give help to our sisters and brothers in Christ with specific needs.
What is Helping Hands?
The purpose of this ministry is to match Atonement member home needs with members who are willing to provide help in meeting these needs.
What??
These jobs may include yard work, cutting grass, walking dogs, baby sitting, minor cleaning, pet sitting and/or house sitting while the owners are out of town, and running errands. In this ministry, Atonement is not an employer providing workers but will serve as the information provider getting the helpers together with the members who have these needs. The helpers may do these jobs as volunteers or may need to be paid. If the job requires payment, the price will be made known so that the receiver can agree or not.
Who??
The helpers will need to be 13 years or older.
When?
This ministry will operate during this summer and fall. After each job is completed a satisfaction survey will be completed to monitor the quality of the work and job satisfaction.
Contacts:
Edward Hein and Ken Lord will serve as the coordinators of this program. If there are any questions, please contact Dr. Hein at 610-858-6601 or Dr. Lord at klord@atonementwyo.org.
